How We Partner with Your Family Veterinarian

Family VeterinarianWe work closely with your family veterinarian and serve as an extension of his/her practice.

Before your pet’s first visit to the dermatology clinic our staff will contact your family veterinarian directly to obtain all medical records. This way, we can thoroughly review previous therapy, procedures, and test results.

After each visit to our clinic, your family veterinarian will receive a letter that details the dermatologic examination, results of tests completed, therapies instituted and follow up expectations.

Once we have resolved your pet’s dermatology and/or allergy issues, general care of your pet will typically revert back to your family veterinarian.

Remember that veterinary dermatology is simply an extension of your pet’s general health plan and your family veterinarian is responsible for the overall medical care of your pet.
